How can I specify my own clean-up options?
  You can specify your own clean-up options and perform custom clean-up tasks, too.
  Start Universal Shredder application.
  From the left-side option bar, select clean-up options you want to perform. All options are categorized into different logical groups; click the Group name to load options and tick-mark the option in collapsible - expandable option Tree to add it to Task Queue.
  Once you're done, click "Start Erasing Now" button.
  Wait for a couple of seconds, the Progress bar will let you know about the action Universal Shredder is performing.
When the process is completed, the Progress bar reaches to its extreme right side and the status changes to "Ready."
You can also save currently selected options as Universal Shredder Task File or set currently selected set of options as your Default set of options, too!  
 
How can I Save clean-up options to Universal Shredder Task File?
  Start Universal Shredder application.
  Select options that you want to group under your custom Task Profile.
  Click File - Save Task File menu.
  Select Folder to save your Task File.
  Click Save button.
 
How can I change my Default set of Tasks?
  Default Task options are the options that are automatically loaded on application startup. These are usually the options that you need to perform frequently. Universal Shredder comes with its own default set of options; but you can change this and prepare your set of options as "Default Tasks". Just follow the steps mentioned below and you're done!
  Start Universal Shredder application.
  Select the options from left-side option-bar that you want to get loaded automatically on application startup.
  Click File - Set selected Tasks as Default menu. Application will present a confirmation message.
  Click "Yes" button to set current set of Tasks as Default set of options.
That's it! Now, from next time, when you will start Universal Shredder application, you will see currently selected tasks already loaded for you.
 

How can I Schedule Clean-up Task?
  Universal Shredder has built-in Scheduler & supports Scheduled execution of selected clean-up tasks. Setting up a Schedule is a two step process. Just follow the steps mentioned below to set your Schedule.
  Step 1: Create Task Profile File: In this step, you will need to create Universal Shredder Task Profile by selecting the actions that you want to perform in schedule. Please refer "How I can  clean-up options to Universal Shredder Task File?" for steps on creating your own task file.
  Step 2: Set Schedule and Activate: In this step, you will tell Universal Shredder which Task file to refer to and perform clean-up operation on specified schedule. The steps to achieve this is extremely simple!

1 - Click Tools left side Option bar.

2 - Click Scheduler from the options loaded in left-side option bar.

3 - Click "..." button locate the Task file that you want to set for scheduled execution.

4 - Select "Execute Task file at following preset interval" option.

5 - Select the Schedule interval from drop down box.

6 - Click "Save Settings" button.

That's it! Your Schedule is set. Note: For proper execution of Schedules, Universal Shredder needs to be kept running. It's recommended that you should select "Start Application on Windows Startup" option from Application Settings panel, too.
 
How can I securely Shred Files with Universal Shredder Secure File Shredder?
  Universal Shredder comes with built-in File Shredder for secure deletion of Files and Folders, deleting it beyond recovery by almost any File Recovery applications available!
  Method 1: From Universal Shredder Application.

1 - Start Universal Shredder application.

2 - Click "Tools" from left side option bar.

3 - Click "File Sherdder" from the options loaded in left-side option bar. File Shredder interface will be presented to you.

4 - Simply Drag and Drop the Files/Folders that you want to Shred in the Shredder Queue.

5 - Click "Start Shredding Now" button to start File/Folder shredding and wait for the process to complete.

  Method 2: From Windows Shell Context Menu.

1 - Browse to File/Folder in Windows Explorer that you want to shred.

2 - Select File/Folder and right-click on it.

3 - Click "Secure Delete with Universal Shredder" option from Context Menu.

4 - Universal Shredder File Shredder interface will appear on your screen. You may add more files/folders to the Shredder Queue by simply drag and drop. 

5 - Click "Start Shredding Now" button to start File Shredding and wait for the process to complete.
