Step 1 — Install Fake Webcam
Download and install Fake Webcam and load a video. Keep it running before opening your browser.
Step 2 — Open Messenger in Browser
Go to messenger.com in Chrome or Edge and log in to your Facebook account.
Step 3 — Start a Video Call
Open a conversation and click the video camera icon to start a video call.
Step 4 — Allow Camera & Select Fake Webcam
When the browser asks for camera permission, click Allow. If you have multiple cameras, click the settings or camera icon in the call and select Fake Webcam Source.
For best results use Chrome or Edge. Make sure Fake Webcam is running before you start the call so it appears in the camera list.
