Step 1 — Install Fake Webcam
Download and install Fake Webcam and load a video. Keep it running before opening WhatsApp.
Step 2 — Open WhatsApp for Windows
Download and open WhatsApp for Windows (desktop app). WhatsApp Web in a browser also works.
Step 3 — Start a Video Call
Open a chat and click the video camera icon to start a video call.
Step 4 — Switch Camera
During the call, click the switch camera or settings icon and select Fake Webcam Source as your camera. WhatsApp will then stream your Fake Webcam video feed.
WhatsApp detects all system camera devices. As long as Fake Webcam is running, it will appear as a camera option in any WhatsApp call.
